Ace the Case is a team competition held with the end goal to enhance your skills in collaborative practice. You are given the opportunity to analyse and solve clinical cases that you could be faced with in your career as a medical doctor. The competition has been an essential part of ICMS since 2019 and has proven to be a favourite among the medical students.
This year we are joining forces with our partners from Body Interact in order to submerge you into the clinical setting! Body Interact is a virtual patient simulator, which improves critical thinking and enhances the decision-making skills of medical students.
The duration of the competition is approximately one hour and a half and consists of two clinical cases and a debriefing session. There will be up to 5 people put in a single team and each participant will be able to choose their teammates beforehand. More information for the registration will be available soon.
We do not doubt that everyone will put their best efforts into ‘acing the case’ however, to keep the ICMS enthusiasts even more motivated we are glad to announce that the winners will also be receiving a special prize!
