Presentation Policies page
Oral Sessions are divided into the following thematic categories:
- Public Health
Some of these sessions may take place at the same time in different lecture halls. You will receive information about which session you will be presenting in via email once your abstract has been reviewed by our Scientific Board and approved.
Each Active Participant will be allowed a maximum of 8 minutes for the Presentation and 2 minutes for Questions and Discussion. Please do not exceed the allowed timeframe. There will be a crew member notifying you once you have 3 mins and 1 min left to conclude.
We accept presentations in the forms of: PowerPoint (preferably 2003).
During each session a Scientific Jury will be present that will be evaluating your presentation using criteria such as: time management, presenting skills, quality of data, support of data, availability of statistical analysis etc.
Poster Sessions are divided into the following thematic categories:
- Public Health
The poster size should not exceed A0 format (height 120 cm, length 90 cm). Portrait size is preferable. You are required to print and bring your poster with you. No posters will be printed by the Organizing Committee.
During the Poster Sessions your posters will be available on appropriate display surfaces. You are required to show up with your poster at least 10 mins before the beginning of the session, in order to display your poster under the assigned tags with your Active Participant ID number.
You will have a maximum of 5 minutes for your Presentation and 2 minutes for Questions and Discussion.
The Scientific Jury will evaluate your presentation and ability to answer questions as well as the overall layout and information provided on the poster. Other criteria will include: context, grammar, availability of figures and statistics, take-home messages, etc.
