Dr. Murhaf Assaf

Dr Murhaf Assaf is a  General Surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, previously worked in worked in a conflict zone in Syria. His hospital was bombed multiple times during the Aleppo conflict in 2016. One of many dedicated doctors working tirelessly, Dr Murhaf Assaf and his team reconstructed an injured man’s jaw, using a metal plate and pectoral flap. Having massive amounts of patients at the same time, he has learned how to perform under great pressure and limited resources in the operating room. Dr Assaf has definitely had many cases which required fast and creative thinking.
